Why we're called Sharp Iron

Razor-sharp. Dead on grade.

Our name is our standard. We run GPS grade control, so the machine knows exactly where the design surface is. Every cut, every pad and every pipe goes in where the plans say it goes.

That means less over-digging, less wasted material, fewer re-dos and no guessing about fall on a pipe run. You get the grade you paid for the first time.

  • GRADINGPads, ponds, swales and lots shaped right to the design surface.
  • TRENCHConsistent depth and fall from one end of the run to the other.
  • SUBGRADESubgrade and base cut to elevation before the paving crew shows up.

How a job runs

A small crew means you talk to the person running the equipment, not a dispatcher.

1

Plans & walk

Send the plans or bid documents. For most work we walk the site before we price it.

2

Clear price

An itemized bid by scope and quantity, so you can see exactly what you're paying for.

3

Dig to plan

GPS puts the work right where the design says, and we call before anything changes the price.

4

Clean finish

Final grade checked, site cleaned up, and the site handed back ready for the next trade.
